Catching up

Sometimes I really don't know where the time goes!

August was crazy here, with lots of sessions indoors and out!  Mostly indoors due to that lovely south Florida heat and humidity. Our website was down for over three weeks as well.  This meant no slideshows, no updates, no blog, nothing.  We had to reschedule appointments, and just try to keep up with the craziness. Thankfully we are back in business on a new server, so I can share some images from recent sessions!

Here's a little bit of everything from the past month.....with more to come :) 

Another one turns 1!

Time really flies!  Every time one of my Little Stars turns one I can hardly believe it!  This time it's Jackson's turn.   

Jackson has been fabulous in the studio his whole first year.  Look at those lashes!

He was not thrilled with the birthday hat, but the cake distracted him long enough to get a couple shots :).

Ashton & Alivia :)

Alivia was late getting her nap, but gave us lots of smiles at the beginning of our session at her home.

When she was *done* and went to nap, Ashton took me outside and showed me his yard, how he blows bubbles, his ride on toys, and his cool swing! 

Beach Engagement Session :)

Scott and Jennifer are planning a spring wedding that is just going to be soooo beautiful.  We met recently for engagement portraits at the beach.  They are a fun couple and totally open to me doing my thing, which I love!

I had this shot in my head before the session.  I knew it would be really cool, and I LOVE it!  To set it up, I requisitioned Jennifer's ring, then instructed them to stand a few feet back and make out.  It took me a minute or so to set up the shot so the poor things had to kiss more than once.  :P

We literally were not sure, right up until we GOT to the beach, if this session was going to happen that night.  There was a huge storm camped out about a mile north of our location and it was black and ugly... we thought we might get rained out!  Luckily, the storm stayed north and provided us with cool skies :)

Jennifer has read my blog before and knew that I was going to get them wet. She came prepared with dry clothes.  And in the water they went :). 

Congratulations again and I can't wait to shoot your wedding!

North Carolina

Earlier this month, I headed up to NC to do some sessions.  Thanks to Wendy for getting such a wonderful group together!  I had a great time and loved meeting all these families :).  We had three sets of twins in the bunch which was a lot of fun.  Just  a sneak peek....I have sooo many favorites from my time up there.

Brand New

I went up to North Carolina two weeks ago for some sessions which I will share shortly.  When I returned, I had two brand new baby girls waiting for their portrait sessions :).
